IATA – Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) – Category 3

Certain goods may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board it. As a result, the air transport of these dangerous goods requires special technical knowledge and proper handling.
SustChem S.A., having a Certified Aviation Safety Advisor (Certification: IATA – Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) – Category 3) is able to provide the following services for the transport of dangerous goods by air:
• Applyproperly the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Identify the nine classes of dangerous goods by their principle criteria
• Identify the dangerous goods which are

o Forbidden for air transport, or
o Permitted for air transport in accordance with the DGR
o Excepted in all or in part from the DGR

• Apply the general packing requirements and the specific packing instructions or verify that they have been followed• Properly mark and label a dangerous goods package or verify that the marking or labelling requirements have been met
• Complete a Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods or verify that the information provided on the form complies with the DGR
• Recognize and apply any State or Operator Variations
